 What is Advocacy?
An advocate is a person that speaks up for the cause of another individual or community; a person that defines a cause.

Why is it important?
Children do not vote, so their voices too often go unheard. Children and youth deserve to have government programs work in their best interest.

Thousands of Houston children are at risk and the cause will blow you away:  Human trafficking.  Houston has become the 'hub' for human trafficking, slavery, and exploitation of children.  The Children at Risk  Group is working hard to educate our community and our children, as well as providing a leadership roll in child advocacy.  You can help this cause by donating directly  or attending an upcoming event:
April 3rd:  Craig Ferguson Stands up for Houston's Children
May 4th: 8th Annual Melissa Wilson Golf Classic

Thank You!
